OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME — Harvest Lane has partnered with three new regional farms ahead of the spring growing season, broadening the mix of fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples available in its weekly boxes.
The new partners join a growing network of local growers and makers whose products reach customers within days of harvest. The additions mean more variety in the box each week and more support flowing directly to nearby family farms.
“Every new farm we work with means a shorter trip from the field to the table and more money staying in our community,” said a Harvest Lane spokesperson.
Customers can see which farm an item came from on the weekly menu as the new produce rolls out over the coming weeks.
